Abbi Nagula Villa

Nagula is a traditional Jaffna guest home, renovated and let only in its entirety. Whether you arrive alone, as a couple or as a party of eight, the whole house is reserved for you — six bedrooms, the living room, the pantry and the garden.

The layout is the one you find in older houses across the peninsula: rooms opening onto a central garden, bathrooms set a few steps away in the compound rather than attached to the bedrooms. Four of the six rooms are singles, three of them looking onto the garden. Two are larger and air-conditioned — a queen room, and a family room with a queen and a single.

The garden is the heart of it. Benches, shade, room for children, and quiet — which is the surprise, because Jaffna City Centre is a four-minute walk away.
